What is Simply Science and Studies?
Simply Science and Studies provides hands-on, engaging educational opportunities for home-educated students in grades Kâ12. Classes are divided into Lower Level, Middle Level, and Upper Level learning environments. Families can customize their schedules by selecting individual classes or bundling multiple offerings for a full day of learning. This program meets on Mondays and Tuesdays once a week for 28 weeks.
What is Simply S.T.E.A.M.?
Simply S.T.E.A.M. is a science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics based educational program for home-educated students in grades 4â12. Designed for accelerated learners, the program offers hands-on, classroom-style experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity, and deeper exploration. Simply S.T.E.A.M. is perfect for the student looking for a challenge. This program meets on Wednesdays (UL: 7th-12th) and Thursdays (LL: 4th-7th) once a week from 9AM-3:30PM for 28 weeks.

Registration is now open for the 2026-2027 school year.
Projected 2026-2027 School Calendar:
August 27th : Back-To-School Open House
September 14th - 17th : First week of classes
November 23rd - 26th : Fall Break; No Classes
December 18th - January 3rd : Winter Break; No Classes
March 29th - April 1st : Spring Break; No Classes
April 19th - 22nd : Last week of classes unless an inclement weather day occurs during the school year
Additional Details:
Simply classes are geared toward students who are excited about learning and interested in the course material offered.
Classes are a 28-week commitment. They run through the first and second semesters of the school year.
Refunds are not available for unfinished classes or registration fees. Payment for the entire 28-week program is still required if a dropout occurs.
An initial deposit is required to register. This deposit will range from $50 to $150, depending of the course(s) you have registered for. This deposit is non-refundable.
A payment plan is available. Monthly payments can be made to pay the remainder of your balance once the deposit is paid. All Simply balances are due in full by April 15th of the corresponding school year.
A 10% off multi-day or sibling discount is available for each child after the first full-price registration.
If you refer a friend and they register, you will receive $10 off your child's registration!
A minimum of 10 participants is suggested for each class. If the minimum is not met, the class may be cancelled at the discretion of the instructor. A registration fee refund WILL be administered if AFSC cancels a class.
