The $10 Group Admission Rate is reserved for groups of 15 or more PARTICIPANTS. The ticket price for the ZIPLINE ADD-ON option is NOT INCLUDED in this price. If your group contains fewer than 15 participants, you will pay our General Admission rate of $12-per-person.
Participants
*
AFSC can accommodate no more than 60 individuals for a Group Field Trip, including Chaperones and Parents.
Due to staffing requirements, AFSC cannot accommodate more participants than originally scheduled.
If you will not be attending this Group Field Trip, please relay this information to location leads/Chaperones BEFORE the date of the Group outing.
Chaperones

AFSC requires a minimum of 1 Chaperone per 15 Participants. AFSC will honor 1 free Chaperone Admission per every 15 Participants, up to 3 free Chaperone admissions. After this, each Chaperone will pay the $10 Group Rate (or $12 General Admission if the group has fewer than 15 participants.
Parents

Parents will be considered Chaperones and will pay the same $10 (or $12) rate. It is your responsibility to inform interested parents of this price if you will not be covering the cost of parents who attend.
Parents are also expected to be hands-on and vigilant. Participants must be supervised at all times.
Chaperone Responsibilities

Chaperones must be vigilant, hands-on helpers to Participants.
AFSC Staff members are not Group Chaperones.
Group Chaperones must supervise, guide, assist, and redirect participants when necessary.
Participants must be supervised by their chaperones at all times.
Conduct
*
AFSC is a family-friendly learning facility.
Participants and Chaperones alike are expected to behave in a respectful manner.
Profanity, vulgar or offensive language or speech, racial slurs, or harassment/bullying of AFSC Staff or any individual onsite will result in dismissal of the offending Group from our premises.
Parking
*
Vans and smaller busses may park in any traditional parking space in our lot. Larger busses may park in the designated Bus Parking spots at the North end of our upper parking lot (on Cleveland-Massillon Rd.)
BUSSES MAY NOT PARK PARALLEL TO THE ROAD OR BLOCK PARKING SPACES. NO VEHICLE MAY PARK IN OUR FIRE LANE.
It will be your responsibility to ensure bus drivers understand this policy.
Arrival & Itinerary

Your group will receive an itinerary/schedule upon arrival.
Please make efforts to arrive on time.
Due to the nature of our facility and business operations, if your group arrives late, a portion of your guided tours may be skipped.
If your group arrives early, your guided tours will not begin until the originally scheduled time.
Please send a Chaperone into the building to check in with the Front Desk before leading the participants into the building. Our staff will inform Chaperones of the most efficient way to guide your participants to their first hands-on activity!
Lunch

AFSC does not provide lunch to Group Participants or Chaperones. Lunches brought by Group Participants will be stored in specific containers easily accessible to Group Chaperones.
Participants may not bring full-sized backpacks or duffle/school bags due to limited space. Full-sized backpacks must remain in the Group's vehicle.
Zipline
*
The Zipline add-on is optional, seasonal, and weather-permitting. The Zipline add-on cost is $5 per person.
Participants must be 48 inches (4 feet) or taller to ride. One Zipline ride per participant.
Participants must have a Zipline Waiver form (permission slip) signed by a parent or guardian before they arrive. The Zipline waiver may be printed from our website.
CHAPERONES MAY NOT SIGN WAIVERS FOR PARTICIPANTS. This behavior will result in a permanent ban from the Zipline attraction.
The Zipline add-on must be scheduled/confirmed at least 2 weeks in advance.
